As soon as I laid my eyes on the Blue Heaven Signature Eyeliner, I wanted it. I'm a big fan of fountain pens and the packaging reminded me of my very first pen. It was a chubby black pen just like this one and it brought back nostalgic memories. Even though I purchased this eyeliner for its packaging, It didn't completely disappoint me. So here's my review of this cute product.

My Thoughts on Blue Heaven Signature Eyeliner:
The packaging (product) is pretty sturdy and appears to be leakproof. As claimed by the brand, Blue Heaven Cosmetics, the brush has a long and firm handle that allows one to comfortably line their eyes. The brush itself is of the right density/thickness and the bristles are nor frayed. The tip of the brush is smoothly tapered, ensuring smooth and precise lines.
It has no weird smell. However, in one instance, actually thought it smelled like fountain pen ink. I couldn't get the same scent again. Odd, right?!!
Now, about the consistency; it is watery but not very watery like some of the affordable liquid eyeliners I have tried out. By topping it one or two more times (at the max), I got the desired opacity.
Coming to the pigmentation aspect; it is not the 'darkness of the abyss' kind of darkness, but for the price, I say it gives a decent pigmentation.
The product claims to be water resistant. Although 'Water Resistant' means: able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely, it resists even lesser than it should. So, it's a not-so-great choice if you are out sweating. Otherwise, under normal condition, it stays put for at least 5 hours and starts to slowly wear off after this.
- Decent pigmentation considering the price
- Easily available
- Sturdy packaging
- Long and robust brush handle
- Tapered brush
- No funky smell
- Easy to apply
- Could have been much more pigmented
- Not water resistant
- Stays put for a minimum 5 hours - this is not exactly long wear
- Has decent pigmentation and not 'Extra Black' as the product claims
- No mention of the preservatives used
Blue Heaven is an Indian-based brand that has been here for quite some time. The price of the product is affordable and keeping the price in mind, it does do a fair job. It is a good choice for newbies and intermediate users as it has a good brush handle. So, it is an okay-ish product.
