Makeup Haul - November + December

Makeup Haul - November + December

Stocked up on old favorites and trying out some new ones as well.

I'm trying out makeup products from Makeup Revolution and Star's Cosmetics. I'm quite surprised with the Star's Cosmetics. Even though I bought these products on a whim, they are quite good. I will be reviewing them soon. Some of my personal favorites are eyeshadows from Makeup Revolution, bright pink/fuchsia matte lippie from Maybelline and yellow matte powder from Star's Cosmetics. Mini Haul!!! Lipsticks, Blushes and some more

I kept this one a mini haul as i ordered only what i was missing. I have steadily started to incorporate blushes in to my looks and needed more shades. So got these. Like i have previously mentioned.....somewhere...not sure where, I invest in drug store cosmetics that are very affordable for obvious reasons.
I have ordered Some blushes, couple of eye shadows, 3 shades of concealers, eye liner, lipsticks. Just covered the basics. I know I'm rambling and really hurrying through this post. I have to run off before my little monster wakes up. Will start to review them soon.
Any requests to start off on anything particular??? Let me know.

Review: H & M Blusher - #19 Sugar Coral

Price & Quantity: 7.2g Price not sure as i got this as a gift.
Ingredients:
My take on this:
I got this blush as gift from the sister and should thank her for introducing this shade to me. I don't usually go for this shade assuming that it wouldn't suit my dusky skin, but boy i was so wrong!!! Now this is my go-to blush.
The packaging is a simple casing which is sturdy enough to be carried around. The ingredients are clearly mentioned on the back of the packaging.
This is a matte pinkish coral shade. Its super pigmented and has to be used with a light hand. What surprises me is the almost zero fall out. Whatever comes off from the pan goes on to the brush. There is nothing negative about this product but availability in India would be an issue. It is very easy to blend and looks very natural and give this healthy look to my face. The blush can be worn in a subtle manner or can be built up to give a much more intense look. There has been no reactions or breakouts on my face after using this and even works well on oily face. Since it is pigmented, beauties with oily face should try use it with a light hand as it tends to get darker as it gets absorbed my the oil on the face. This problem is not unique to this brand or shade as oily face tends to react this face, but is a good pointer based on its intense pigmentation.
When comparing, i would say that the H & M blush out performs  the e.l.f Studio Blush - Blushing Rose i have reviewed Here.
Pros:
Super pigmented
Lasts at least 5 hours
Negligible fall outs.
Looks natural
No adverse reaction on using
Cons:
Not easily available in India
Verdict:
Will buy more shades for sure if i can.

Review: e.l.f. Studio Blush - Blushing Rose

What it claims:

The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!

Quantity & Price: $3 for 4.75g

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica, Nylon-12, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Polybutene, Sodium Dehydroacetate May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow No.5 Lake (CI 19140), Red No.40 Lake (CI 16035), Ultramarine Violet (CI 77007), Blue No.1 Lake (CI 42090)
My take on this:
I have been having this product from Feb and meaning to a review on them since them. I have experimented and experienced other makeup products but still a newbie when it comes to Blushes. I had no idea what shade would work my complexion so searched for swatches and gathered clues about them and in the end selected this shade. To start off, the packaging is really cute. Its compact and is sturdy enough to be carried around. For the amount of the product you are getting the price is really really affordable. If only we could get this brand in India 🙁
This shade appears pigmented on my fingers but when i apply on my face i have build up more layers to make it visible. This best works when i use my stipple brush and not the Blush brush, Wonder why??!!! It feels light and comfortable to wear this and is suitable to wear during the day. It goes on smoothely and is very easy to blend them.It appears as if it does have golden shimmer particles in it and it does...but it doesn't end up looking too shimmer-ish on the face...Like i said great to wear during the day. This shade gives a nice glow to my face and makes it appear natural

When i apply on my face it lasts about 4 hours and after than it kinda fades away really fast. There are mixed reviews on this products; some say its not pigmented. I guess it depends on the shade you choose. If you are newbie when it comes to using Blush, this is a great choice as it wont make a dent in your pocket.
Check out Here for the different shades available.
Pros:
Affordable
Cute and sturdy packaging
Easy to blend
Decent pigmentation.
Looks natural (Talking only about this shade...no clue about the others)
Subtle enough to use both during day and night (This shade)
Cons:
Need to layer it to make it visible
Stays put only for 4 hours
Availability....of course!!!

Verdict:

Easy on the pocket. A great buy for newbies and for people looking to save money.....only if it was available easily...sigh!!!!
