Jabs Non-Woven Oil Clear Sheet for Oily Face

I came across Jabs Non-Woven Oil Clear Sheet in a Seven-Eleven shop in Bangkok when I was desperately looking for something to mop up the crazy overflow of oil on my face. My sebaceous gland was going crazy and direly needed something to blot the oil.

I can't thank this product enough, as it saved me from major embarrassment. All the women I saw in Bangkok were groomed well and had this bright face with great makeup. Not one had a greasy face. And then there was me, a tourist with a lost look and oily face. I used face wipes in a vain attempt not to look greasy. But to no avail, it did not work. I even went you the extent asking a girl, how she kept her face oil-free. She couldn't understand a word I was saying and we ended up taking a picture together. Finally, I found this product in Seven-Eleven. I bought another product from Jabs but in another fragrance along with this one. I will be reviewing that as well.

Price & Quantity:

30 sheets for 50 THB (approximately Rs.100)

What I Think of This One:

Jabs Non-Woven Oil Clear Sheet for Oily Face

I have a super oily face and have to constantly dab my face to look decent. It gets worse when I wear makeup and completely breaks down my makeup if I don't get rid of the excess oil. Usually, this removes most of my makeup as well. This oil clear sheet has solved this problem. Now, all I have to do is touch up my face with this sheet as soon as I feel that my face is starting to oil up.

Previously, I used to use Milk of Magnesia underneath my makeup. You can read about it here.

I love this product so much and only wish that I had bought more of them (I got them in Bangkok). This product is so simple and user-friendly, right from the package. The sheets are enclosed in a thick paper package (think eco-friendly). And, simple things like an adhesive on the lid to grab the sheet makes it easy to use. Since the entire product and its casing is made out of paper, it is super light and very travel-friendly.

In the above picture, you can see how the adhesive surface picks up the sheet. The sheet has a sort of thin fiber-ey layer on one side and a plastic sheet on the other side. The sheet that looks like a super-thin cloth completely absorbs the oil on my face and doesn't leave behind any powdery substance or irritate my skin in any way.

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Completes absorbs oil
  • Travel-friendly
  • Does not irritate the skin

Cons:

  • Availability is a major issue

Verdict:

I love this oil clear sheet as this is a great option for an oily face. I'm gonna beg anyone who is visiting Thailand, to get it for me or find an alternate way to get my hands on them.
