L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paint - Blushing, Pin Up & Bombshell

L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paint

I fell in love with all the shades in L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paint the moment I laid my eyes on them. I have been lusting after them for quite some time, so the moment I had the opportunity to order them online, I did not hesitate.  I really love the array of shades available in this range. I had a tough time limiting myself to just three shades. I got the shades Bombshell, Pin Up and Blushing.
Before I rant about what I think of this product, let heart out what the brand has to say about it.

Making their much anticipated debut, Glazed Lip Paints give the intensely pigmented appearance of a lipstick, with the ease and glossy finish of a lipgloss. My Thoughts on it:

L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paint - Blushing, Pin Up & Bombshell

The Glazed Lip Paints come in squeeze tubes that show the color of the product. Nothing fancy about the packaging, but is very travel-friendly. It is easy to squeeze way too much out of the tube, so go easy on the tube.

The first think that hit as soon as I used it, is its strong peppermint scent and taste. It leaves a bit of tingle on the lips. It is similar to the toothpaste I’m using. Even though I’m not in love with this flavor, I’m just happy that it fades away in a minute or two at the most.

I got the shades Bombshell, Pin Up and Blushing.

The formula is nice and creamy that is not sticky, even in the slightest and feels light on the lips.  What bothers me a lot is the inconsistency in the consistency of the product. Out of the 3 shades, I found 2 of them to be quite runny. You can see the same in the below pic.

Because of the inconsistency in the consistency, it is best to use a lip liner as I found them to move a lot at times.

The shades are extremely pigmented and offers excellent coverage to dark and pigmented lips. They are so pigmented and thick that you need much. A lip brush can help you get an even finish. On applying, it dries to a nice lacquered finish. I felt really comfortable wearing the lip gloss and my lips were actually soft after using it. This might probably be because of the Castor oil used in it.

The brighter and deeper shades stain the lips to a certain degree but not as much as I would have liked it to be. This is not really a problem, so gonna overlook it.

The formula isn’t smudge or transfer-resistant. The brand never claimed to be so, so you can’t hold this against them. However, do expect transfers when eating or drinking or kissing 😉

What I hated, or what disappointed me the most is the staying power. Without any activity with my lips, It hardly lasted me 3 hours. I wish it had longer staying power.

The lip gloss comes with a slanted nozzle. This does not allow for a precise application, so I ended up using a lip brush to get a proper finish.

  • Super pigmented
  • Affordable
  • Comes in huge variety of shades
  • Spreads evenly
  • Really comfortable to wear.
  • Is not drying

  • Nozzle-type applicator
  • Transfers easily
  • Fades quickly
  • Inconsistency in the consistency

My Verdict:

I really love the shades available in this range and its amazing pigmentation, but absolutely hate that it doesn’t last long. At the same time, this is too affordable. So this is one product that you can experiment with new and different shades.
