I have mixed feeling about this pencil as I love everything about it except for the shade. I wanted a vibrant blue shade and it did look like it, but on applying this shade 'Ocean Blue' looked so 'meh' and dull and looked liked it has a pearlized finish. I'm not a big fan of anything with pearlized finish. So it's needless so say that this is the least often used eye pencil in my vanity. But I do love how smoothly it applies. So will be checking out other shades in this line.
It glides on effortlessly and doesn't pull the eye lids. It is quite pigmented but it falls short when compared to the Faces eye pencil, one which I have reviewed here. I compared two green shades, each in Faces and Maybelline. The Maybelline one looked bland compared to the faces one. Just a short note about the comparison, now getting back to the original post, the pigmentation is decent. It does smudge a little on my combo skin (its combo at the moment) but it's not too much. It lasts for put for 5-6 hours and starts to fade away.
I would say this pencil irritates the eye when used in the waterline and I just don't feel comfortable with it. I don't see many reviews stating this issue so I guess this is just for me.
This pencil definitely sharpens better and I find this especially beneficent. The Faces one after sharpening looks like a torture device designed to gouge out the eyes. The other thing I love about this is that the expiry date is clearly embossed on the body.

What I Like:
- Glides smoothly.
- Sharpens well.
- Decent pigmentation.
- For the price the lasting power is good.
- Clearly mentioned expiry date.
What I Don't Like:
- Doesn't feel comfortable on the waterline.
- The shades are not vibrant.
- Not smudge proof.
Even though affordable than Faces, the shades are not vibrant. So will not getting more from this line. What's your view on this on ladies???
