MUA Bronzer Shade 3 Works Great as a Pressed Powder for Dusky Skin

Hello people, I'm back with the review of MUA Bronzer. Even though this is a bronzer, It works great as a compact/pressed powder for me. The matte formula is really apt for this and the shades is a perfect match to my dusky complexion (The other pressed powder shades were not even close to my complexion). So, I will be reviewing it as a compact powder.

MUA Bronzer Shade 3

My thoughts on MUA Bronze in Shade 3:

I know that the idea of using a bronzer all over the face sounds preposterous, but it can actually work if the bronzer doesn't have any shimmer particles in it, i.e it should be matte. This is the darkest in this line of MUA bronzer; the other two are light shade with gold shimmer and a medium shade.

The packaging is quite simple and sturdy. It comes in a see through square packaging. This one doesn't come with an applicator or a mirror. If it did, it would have been a complete package.

The consistency is really smooth and blends quite well. I use a kabuki brush to blend out the powder and am not facing any issues with it.

The MUA bronzer has decent pigmentation and 2 swipes/swirls is enough to provide good coverage. When on the run, I just use this powder and I'm good to go. It gives me a polished look without the foundation and concealer.

The great thing about this product is that it did not lead to any breakouts or allergic reactions on my skin.

When it comes to oily face, this MUA bronzer darkens after a couple of hours. This puts me off as it makes my face look darker than it is. The next major downside is that this product is not easily available in India. I bought this in Dubai and tried finding it here but to no avail.

  • Blends well
  • Completely matte
  • Good coverage
  • Decent staying power
  • Sturdy and travel-friendly packaging
  • Smooth texture
  • Does not break me out
  • Buildable

  • Not available in India
  • Darkens on oily face
  • Contains Paraben 🙁

The MUA bronzer is an affordable option as a bronzer and as compact/pressed powder for dusky, but the availability issues and paraben are a major turn off for me.
