Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner - Review

Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner

Initially, I was wary of trying out the Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. This is because of a particularly horrifying experience after using a shampoo from a popular brand, whose name starts with the letter ‘P’. After using their shampoo, my hair was sticking together and I started to panic. I had to douse my hair with oil and washed it without using any shampoo. I had used so many shampoos and found them to be drying, but something was seriously wrong with this one.

I keep looking out for affordable and good shampoos and that’s how I am. So far, I have been happy with Herbal Essence and Tresemme and they will always be my go-to shampoos when I can’t find anything better.

So, read on to find out how this affordable shampoo and conditioner performs. Before that, let’s see what the brand has to say.

My Thoughts on this Product:

I have been using this product for a month now and so far it has been a good experience. The water is Bangalore is very bad and hard and most of the shampoo don’t work. My hubby had bought this during his trip to the U.S (You can buy it in India here). The Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner is very affordable and considering the price, it really delivers.

It cleans my hair leaving it soft and manageable, most importantly it does not strip my hair of moisture. When I used just the shampoo it was fine, but when used along with the conditioner, the effect is incredible. My hair looks shiny and is very bouncy.

I didn’t notice any out of the ordinary hair loss, just the usual amount.

It has a sweet smell, something like sweet almond oil. This is possible because one of the ingredients is sweet almond oil.

Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner

The shampoo has slightly watery consistency and looks luminous. The conditioner, on the other hand, has a thicker consistency and look like any other whitish conditioner.

The Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner claims to work as well as Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo and conditioner. Please note her that Aveda is part of Estee Lauder Companies, Inc.

Pros:

  • Makes your hair shiny and bouncy
  • Moisturizes well
  • Cleanses well.
  • Loads of natural ingredients
  • Does not contain Paraben

Cons:

Nothing I know of.

Verdict:

I'm in love with the Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. So, definitely going back for more.
