As the cold season prevails, the need for a good moisturizer is vital. This moisturizing body lotion by TBC by Nature has come to me at an opportune time. Does this body lotion pass as a great moisturizer? Let’s find out.
Before I talk about the product, here’s a little info on the brand.
TBC by Nature is a recently launched brand that focuses on skin care products, hair care, skin treatment products, baby care products and much more. Originally branded as ‘Proveda Herbals Company’, it was later reformulated and introduced as ‘TBC by Nature’.

My Thoughts On This Body Lotion By TBC By Nature:
I’m not a big fan of whitening products, however when the brand representative requested to send me this as the one I opted for was out of stock, I accepted this product.
This comes under the winter care products by TBC. This line contains products with key ingredients like almond, cocoa butter, Aloe Vera and other herbal extracts.
I have decided try out a new format of reviewing a product. Do let me know if it’s easy to read.
Price & Quantity:
This product is decently priced for the quantity. The entire range of products comes at an affordable price.
The bottle is quite sturdy and the dents on the side makes it easy to grip it. It comes with a flip cap that secures well, making it travel-friendly.
Consistency & Appearance:
The consistency of the lotion is just right – not too runny or not too viscous, making it easy to blend. After seeing the term ’24 Ct’ on the packaging, I was expecting some shimmer in it. However, this looked like a regular White lotion. Unlike other whitening lotions, this one does not leave a whitish cast. I like this in this lotion.
Here's how it looks after it's blended.
The fragrance is similar to the lotions from Ayur. I do find the fragrance a little overpowering, however, it does dissipate after some time, so this is a big relief to me.
I have used it for almost two weeks but did not make any difference on my skin. This lotion cannot handle Bangalore’s cold weather, however, it works fine for Chennai’s weather. Meaning, this moisturizing lotion is not effective when it comes to dealing dry winter skin.
The Cover photo of TBC by Nature on Facebook mentions that their products are chemical free and pesticide free. Also, the product itself mentions that its ‘Paraben Free’. However, the ingredients contain two kinds of Parabens.
The brand needs to take a stand on this.
- Easily available online
- Good ingredients
- Not tested on animals
- SPF 15
- Contains Parabens
- Strong smell
The cost and the availability of a variety of lotions make it a great product. However, the presence of Parabens in it stops me from using it. Since this is a product that needs to be used every day, I don’t want to be in contact with Parabens every single day.
